It is Government's established policy
to provide a barrier-free environment for persons with
disabilities with a view to enabling them to access
to premises and make use of facilities on an equal basis
with others, thereby facilitating them to live independently
and fully integrate into the Community. To enhance the
accessibility of Government premises, facilities and
service, an Access Co-ordinator and Access Officer Scheme
has been introduced.
Under the Scheme, the Judiciary Administration
has designated Assistant Judiciary Administrator (Corporate
Services) as its Access Co-ordinator to co-ordinate
accessibility issues, and the following Access Officers
to serve as the first point of contact on accessibility
issues at each venue under the Judiciary’s management,
and to ensure the provision of appropriate barrier-free
facilities. Their contact means are set out below:
